Joshua, she and I arrived home with books and a video. The video that was chosen is extremely important because our Veggie Tale Jonah video broke and when Joshua saw it he was excited to sign it out. Unfortunately it has sat on the counter for two days. I really did not look at it because after all...it's JONAH. Today Joshua asked, "Can we watch Jonah." Not looking at the video, I quickly pulled the tape out and explained that they would have to watch it in Faith's room since her TV has the VCR in it. Off they went to her room. I placed the movie in the TV and came back out into the kitchen.
It was only a matter of minutes when I noticed something. Now, many of you know that I am losing my hearing....my conversational hearing. Makes for fun moments....like this one. I stopped what I was doing because I realized that I could not understand what was being said in the movie. I knew what was happening, yet the words sounded all garbled. Can I just say I had a moment....albeit brief, of panic. I walked into Faith's room and looked at the TV.....it was like lightening hit my brain once my eyes hit the screen. I walked over to look at the jacket and there it was...."Dubbed in Spanish".
