It’s raining here.

It’s raining here. I’m tired, and it’s raining here.

The season is changing, Faith is noticing and…it’s raining here.

I have found that friendships can be like seasons that change and that…it’s raining here.

Just when I think I have come to grasp “contentment” with change, I find that…it’s raining here.
Like my son who has Autism, the change is never “content” and…it’s raining here.

God has His reasons and it’s all for His glory, and through the midst…it’s raining here.

I have come to learn that a broken pot can receive water and give water….so let it rain here.

Life is uncertain, no matter the circumstances we face, life is uncertain. Nothing human can stop the rain that happens to pour on our lives at times, and it is then that we need to just stop trying to fix it with our preverbal umbrella of human solutions. The rain we face can represent anything that disrupts “how we think” life should be. It can represent a moment of loss or illness. It can also represent a newness about to begin. No matter the uncertainty you face today…in the midst of the down pour or light mist….just let it rain knowing that Christ is the one who brings calm to the pouring and misty storms around us.

Just a moment of thought after a letter from a dear friend who shared news from a mutual friend that was only for a season. Thank you, Lord, for that season.
