Deep Calls To Deep...Another Chapter
Psalm 42:7,8
"Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me—a prayer to the God of my life."

So, here we are, starting a new chapter in our lives. I have been doing a great deal of reflecting as my anniversary arrives. It will be seven years coming February 3rd. I began to think about the day I met Angel and how a chapter began as I moved her to Ohio, my dad dying just days later and us getting married a month and a week following that life altering event. A few weeks home from our honeymoon another chapter began as we were given the news that we would be bring a "honeymoon" souvenir home in 9 months. This chapter was filled with many adventures from Angel being on bed rest, preterm labor, surgery, remodeling a parsonage, living in the church basement and sharing it with a bat, traveling to SC, to Joshua arriving 5 weeks early. What an incredible chapter.
What we did not realize was the book that God laid out for us was not an "easy flow, easy reader." It was going to be an adventure that was filled with illness, sickness, joys, death, births, autism, traveling, and change. I think our book so far in our 7 years of marriage has more pages than "War and Peace."The year now is 2008 and we are on yet another chapter in our life's book as we look for another church where we can shepherd and reach people who don't know Jesus or have wandered away and teach them to become passionate, committed followers of Christ, and to help nurture, encourage, and guide them in their journey and walk with God.
Please pray for us as our next chapter begins.
