You know you’re in Florida when:

It was her expression that reminded me of my relationship with Christ!
We were blessed to receive free tickets to Disney this year when we were sent on vacation through Pastoral Rejuvenation. When I shared with Faith and Joshua that we were going to Disney, who do you think they wanted to see? Mickey Mouse of course. Once we arrived we had to wait at the gate for a while. Behind us as we waited stood the Giant “Golf Ball” with Mickey’s hand. When they saw that all they could think of and voice was seeing Mickey. Matt and I began to silently pray, “Please Lord, let them see him.”
How God provides through incredible sacrificing people. (God has truly blown me away, to the point of me being on my face with His blessings that He pours out from people we do not know) We thought we were only going to be at Epcot, but it turned out that we were given a pass to the entire area of Disney world. (We were also given an "Autism Pass" for Joshua so he did not have to wait in line. What a God thing that was.)
So as we passed through the gate and walked down the street our prayer was answered in the first 3 minutes…there Mickey stood. We made our way inside so the kids could have their photo taken with all the Disney Characters, and the Blacked Eared Wonder was the first in the line of historical Disney cartoons.
Now, have you ever been in the presence of something or someone that you have been waiting to see? I remember when I met my birth uncle for the first time and all I wanted to do was sit near him and I could not stop looking at him.
So, here we were, getting ready to see Mickey and something unexpected happened. Faith usually is afraid once she sees something in person that she has only seen in movies, but not with Mickey. I am only sorry I don’t have a photo to show you the face that my eye captured and will forever remember. She walked up to him and just stood there looking at him with adoring eyes. She wasn’t jumping up and down and her eyes did not express surprise or excitement…although I know that her heart was pounding with excitement. Her expression was one that quickly made me think of our relationship with Christ and what it will be like when we see Him…truly see Him face to face.
Her expression as she stood there waiting at his leg can only be described as, “Oh, I know you know me because I know you. I’ve been waiting so long for your embrace and I cannot wait until your eyes see me for here I am, finally in your presence and I love you.”
I pray that as mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters, cousins & sisters we pass on the "legacy" of what it means to adore our Lord, for one day we will be standing at Christ’s leg….looking up with adoring eyes, waiting for that physical embrace…finally in HIS TRUE physical presence. May our faces express our total love for Him.
Okay, I really need to end with this photo. Only because it caused me to laugh every time we passed it. The sign reads, "Irrigated with reclaimed water".

Okay, how many of you are thinking the same thing?
What, are there repo men for "stolen water?" How do you get that job?
"Drop the hose and move away from the water!"
How do you "repo" water without someone knowing it?
Where exactly was the water reclaimed from and why does it say, "Do Not Drink!"
I am just waiting for the new reality show about reclaiming water...."Aqua-man finally cashes in."
